Erica's Welcome

hi!

I am Erica and I am writing to give siblings an insight to what life is like to have a sibling with special needs. I, myself, have a sister named Julia with Aicardi Syndrome. Julia is sixteen, while I am twelve, and I have to say, I probably could not have asked for a better older sister. Besides Julia I have two other older siblings, both brothers, named Luke and Alex.

A little more about me:

1. My favorite subjects are Math, ELA (English Language Arts), and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math).
2. My favorite food is spaghetti and my favorite animal is a dolphin.
3. I play soccer and my favorite position is defense.

I am going to be telling a lot of stories of what I have learned from Julia, why my “normal” is different than most kids my age, and many other articles soon. Stick around, because we are about to have a lot of fun!
